Subhanshu Gupta

Subhanshu Gupta received the B.E. degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Trichy, India, in 2002, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. At University of Washington, he was offered the research assistantship at Systems-on-Chip Lab where he worked on a variety of projects on integrated circuits and system design. The focus of his research was on high-speed and algorithmically efficient data converters for wireless and ultra-low power radio receivers. He has been the recipient of the Analog Devices Outstanding Student Designer Award in 2008, IEEE RFIC Symposium Best Student Paper Award in 2011 and Dean's Merit Scholarship from 1998-2002 at NIT Trichy. 

From 2011 to 2014, he was a Staff Design Engineer in RFIC/Mixed Signal group at Maxlinear Inc., Irvine. At Maxlinear, he worked on a host of RF/Mixed Signal products involving data converters, synthesizers and receivers for satellite/cable TV applications including product testing and verification. 

In 2015, he transitioned back to academia as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Washington State University. His current research interests include broadband reconfigurable architectures, signal and image processing paradigms for heterogeneous networks and sensors, flexible electronic circuits, low-power sensor interfaces.
